Since my first Simple purchase was a little hit and miss, but I found an awesome, must-have product, *see my review on the Simple Skincare Moisturizers here* I decided to take a look at a few more products from the line…
Simple Skincare Soothing Eye Balm comes in a small tube and, according to Simple Skincare, promises to soothe and relax tired eyes with a perfect blend of the purest possible skin loving ingredients with added vitamins. Simple’s eye balm includes pro-vitamin B5, known to help restore, soften, and smooth and vitamin e known to moisturize to improve skin condition as well as bisabolol, shea butter, and jojoba oil to help soothe, replenish, and calm skin. Simple also hasn’t used any dyes, artificial perfumes or harsh irritants in their eye balm.

Simple Skincare Revitalizing Eye Roll-On is supposed to reduce puffiness and wake up and revitalize tired eyes by instantly cooling and gently massaging the delicate eye area. It’s formulated with cucumber extract and glycerin to refresh, hydrate, and revitalize and pro-vitamin b5 to restore, soften, and smooth and also does not include any dyes, artificial perfumes or harsh irritants.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua, Eau), Butylene Glycol, Medicago Sativa (Alfalfa) Seed Extract , Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Algae Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Lupine Protein, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Glycerin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Ethylhexylglycerin , Sorbitol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol
Simple Soothing Eye Balm is a clear, gel-like hydrating formula that feels cooling and refreshing going on, absorbs well, and won’t irritate your eyes. I love it. Initially, I thought I would just use this at night, but now I find myself using it morning and night. I also like that the tube allows me to squeeze out only the amount of product I want; it’s also a very hygienic way to package the product.
Simple Skincare Revitalizing Eye Roll-On is a thin, clear, liquidy-gel formula dispensed through a metal roller ball. While I initially enjoyed the formula, and the cooling, de-puffing effect of the metal roller ball, sometimes the ball is just too cold, which can make my eyes water. Since I was using this in the morning to de-puff my eyes, the last thing I want is watery eyes! I already have watery eyes to begin with. I want to love this product, but sometimes it just doesn’t work for me. I’ve also noticed that sometimes when the product dries it leaves a bit of a reside that doesn’t work well under my makeup.
I absolutely love the Simple Skincare Soothing Eye Balm. It’s a must-have product for me. It moisturizes nicely, doesn’t leave a residue and doesn’t irritate my eyes. The Revitalizing Eye Roll-On on the other hand does irritate my eyes, not because of the formula, but because the metal roller ball is just too cold. $12.99 at Walgreens, Target
